How to pay rent by check

With the Bilt Card, cardholders can earn points on rent with free check payments by following the steps below:

 

Using the Bilt app:

To initiate a one-time rent check in the Bilt Rewards app, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Bilt app and navigate to the My Home tab

  2. Tap Get Started under BillPay for Home 

  3. Select what you would like to set up Billpay for (Rent, Mortgage, HOA

  4. Choose how you’d like to pay rent (Property Portal, Check, Venmo) 
  5. Follow on screen prompts 

  6. Select your preferred delivery method for the rent check: USPS, FedEx 2Day® or FedEx Standard Overnight® (additional fees may apply to FedEx deliveries)

  7. Then tap Pay to submit your check payment

 

To set up autopay for rent checks in the Bilt Rewards app, please follow the steps below:

  1. Head to the My Home tab
  2. Under BillPay for Home click Autopay for check
  3. Fill out required information
  4. Tap Complete set up
