How to pay rent with Bilt Points

With Bilt, you can use your points to reduce your next rent payment. How you’ll redeem depends on how you pay rent through Bilt — either before you pay (as a rent credit) or during checkout (by applying points while you pay).

Redeem points for rent credits before you pay

Bilt Alliance Residents:

Using the Bilt Rewards app or website:

  1. Select the My Home tab
  2. Find Pay with Points (rent credit) and select it.
  3. Choose how many points you'd like to redeem and confirm.

After you submit your redemption, you'll see a pending credit on your account. That credit will automatically apply to your next rent payment you initiate through Bilt.

BillPay for Rent (paying via your property portal using Bilt BillPay)

  1. Go to the My Home tab.
  2. In the BillPay section, select Rent Credit.
  3. Choose how many points you'd like to redeem and confirm.

After you submit your redemption, you'll see a pending rent credit on your account. That credit will automatically apply to your next BillPay rent payment you initiate.

 

Redeem points while you pay

Bilt Alliance Residents

Using the Bilt Rewards app or website:

  1. Go to the My Home tab
  2. Select Make a payment
  3. Turn on the Pay with points toggle
  4. Confirm how many points you'd like to apply, then submit your payment.

BillPay for Rent: Sending out a Check

Using the Bilt Rewards app:

  1. Go to the My Home tab
  2. Start a rent payment and choose Check as your payment method
  3. Enter your check details and delivery preferences
  4. Before submitting, turn on Pay with points (or Save on payments by using points), and confirm the amount.
  5. Submit your payment.

Your points will be applied to your payment during checkout.
