Bilt Members - Getting Started
What is Mobile Checkout?
Mobile Checkout is the Neighborhood Benefit™ that lets you view and pay your check right from your phone. When you're done, just tap "pay" and go—no need to wait for the traditional paper receipt.
How do I use Mobile Checkout?
- Look for the Mobile Checkout card at your table
- Scan the QR code or tap the card with your phone
- The checkout process will open in your Bilt app (you may have to log-in!)
- View your check in real-time and choose your payment method
- Pay and leave when you're ready
Do I earn Bilt Points when using Mobile Checkout?
- Yes—Bilt Members automatically earn points when they pay through Mobile Checkout, but they must be logged into their Bilt account or pay using a linked card. Bilt Members who are not logged in and pay by Apple Pay will not earn Bilt Points.
How many Bilt Points do I earn at restaurants with Mobile Checkout?
Your points earning depends on the restaurant and payment method:
- For Rewards Network restaurants: Earn +3X Bilt Points with any linked card, or 6X total points with your Bilt Mastercard®
- For Bilt neighborhood restaurants: Earn +1X Bilt Points with any linked card, or 4X total points with your Bilt Mastercard®
You can see the specific point multiplier for each restaurant in your Bilt app before you dine.
What if I wasn’t able to log in and missed earning points?
- If a Bilt Member wasn't able to log in during checkout and missed earning points, they can take a screenshot of their purchase confirmation as proof of purchase. Our team will review the screenshot and manually award the points to their account.
Why won't the QR code scanner or tap feature work when I'm trying to pay at restaurants?
- If you're having trouble scanning QR codes or using tap features at Bilt Neighborhood restaurants, please update your app and try again.
