What United MileagePlus offers are available with Bilt?
Members can convert their Bilt Points to United® MileagePlus® miles at a 1:1 ratio. For example, 5,000 Bilt Points = 5,000 MileagePlus miles. Transfers are usually instantly processed but may take up to 48 hours.
You can also earn 2 total miles per $1 spent on your rent as an eligible United MileagePlus Cardmember when paying with your card. Eligible cards include:

How many MileagePlus accounts can be linked to one Bilt account?
Only one MileagePlus account can be linked with one Bilt account.
How is my MileagePlus account being linked to my Bilt account?
When you pay your rent with a qualifying United® MileagePlus® Card or “Link Account” within the “Transfer Partners” area of the app, Bilt validates the info with United’s system and creates a secure link between the two accounts. Bilt does not store your United login credentials.
What should I do if my Bilt miles have not posted to my MileagePlus account 8 weeks after completion of the qualifying activity?
Please contact Bilt Support if your MileagePlus miles from your Monthly Rent or Points to Miles transfer do not appear in your MileagePlus account 6-8 weeks after completing the qualifying activity.
Earning MileagePlus miles on Monthly Rent and Transferring Points to Miles is only valid after you have linked your MileagePlus and Bilt accounts.

- Select “enroll or link account” and follow the steps to link your accounts.

When will my miles post to my MileagePlus account after I pay rent with an eligible United MileagePlus card?
Your miles may be awarded at two separate times due to the nature of the awarding process. Base miles of one (1) total mile per $1 spent on rent using United MileagePlus card will be fulfilled by Chase pursuant to the cardmember agreement for the applicable credit card and may post to your MileagePlus™ account up to 2 billing cycles after the qualifying purchases are made.
Bonus miles of one (1) total mile per $1 spent on rent will be awarded by Bilt, typically within 48 hours of the qualifying rent payment, or as the payment is processed and validated by the financial institution. This will appear on your United MileagePlus Activity Details as “Bilt Rent Cardmember Bonus Miles.” Please allow up to 6-8 weeks for bonus miles to post to your MileagePlus account.
How can I see my MileagePlus mileage balance?
You can visit the Activity tab in your MileagePlus account to view all mileage activity details to date. MileagePlus miles will be posted to your MileagePlus account within 6-8 weeks of completing all qualifying activity requirements.
Can I earn MileagePlus miles on rent payments made through other websites or retailers?
No, MileagePlus miles can only be earned on rent payments made directly through the Bilt App or website when paying with an eligible United MileagePlus card.
How do I link my eligible United MileagePlus card to my Bilt Wallet?
1. Sign in to your Bilt account and navigate to the Wallet tab
2. Select “add card” and enter your card details
3. Select “link card” to link you card to your Bilt wallet.
What happens to my MileagePlus miles if my rent is denied or canceled when using my eligible United MileagePlus card?
Payments must be finalized and cleared for miles to be awarded. Denied or canceled transactions do not count as qualifying transactions.
What if I have more than one eligible United MileagePlus card?
You can pay with any eligible United MileagePlus card that is linked in your Bilt wallet. You are welcome to change which card you use for your rent payment on any given month. The MileagePlus number as it appears on your Credit Card is the account to which the miles will post.
Can I pay with an eligible United MileagePlus card and earn Points instead of miles?
No, if you elect to pay with an eligible United MileagePlus card, you will be awarded MileagePlus miles for your rent payment in place of Bilt Points.
How do I set up rent payments through Bilt?
Once your account is created, you'll be assigned a Rent Rewards account. This will be your unique routing and account number that you'll add to your property's payment portal. You can find this in the Home tab of the app and website.
What if I pay my rent by check?
You are not currently able to pay rent by check with an eligible United MileagePlus card. The Rent Rewards account you will create will need to be connected to a payment portal.
Is there a fee for this transaction?
Yes, when you pay rent with your eligible United MileagePlus card, you'll be charged a 3% transaction fee. You will also earn United miles on the amount of the fee.
Am I earning United Airlines Miles or Bilt Points?
If you are paying your rent with your eligible United MileagePlus card, you will earn two (2) total miles on each rent payment, including on the 3% transaction fee, up to $50,000 per year. If you spend greater than $50,000 in rent within a single calendar year, you will continue to year one (1) total United MileagePlus mile from Chase on each rent payment made with your eligible United MileagePlus card.
Where will I see the miles I’ve earned?
The base miles you earn from Chase on rent payments paid with your eligible United MileagePlus card through Bilt will post to your United MileagePlus account 7-10 days after the credit card statement closes, and the bonus miles you earn from Bilt on rent payments paid with your eligible United MileagePlus card will post to your United MileagePlus account within 5 days after you’ve completed your rent payment, or as the payment is processed and validated by the applicable financial institution.
Is there a minimum transfer requirement?
Yes, Blue status members need at least 2,000 Bilt Points.
Silver, Gold, or Platinum members can transfer in increments of 1,000 points.
Maximum transfer per transaction: 999,000 Bilt Points.
Do the miles that transfer each month include miles earned across other Bilt activities or only rent?
Only Bilt points earned on rent payment activities are eligible to be transferred into miles with the auto-transfer benefit. If you’d like to transfer additional points to United MileagePlus, you can do so separately through the travel rewards tab.
Can I change the day of the month that my Bilt Points transfer to MileagePlus miles?
No, auto-transfers will be processed automatically based on when you submit your rent payment.
How do I enroll in the Auto-Transfer Benefit?
Simply link your card with Bilt and use it as your selected payment method towards your next rent payment.
Is there a recall period if I meant to cancel the auto-transfer but forgot?
No, once your Bilt Points have been transferred to MileagePlus miles, you may not transfer them back into Bilt Points.
How do I un-enroll in the Auto-Transfer Benefit?
If you would no longer like to have your Bilt Points set to Auto-Transfer each month into MileagePlus miles:
- Go to the Bilt app on your phone.
- Tap Travel at the bottom menu.
- Select Transfer Partners.
- You’ll see a list of your linked airline and hotel partners (including United MileagePlus if you’ve set up auto-transfer).
- If you enrolled in Auto-Transfer (Points to Miles), it will show under your linked MileagePlus account.
- Tap into United (or whichever partner is set) → look for Auto-Transfer / Auto-Convert toggle.

If You Don’t See the Toggle
- Contact Bilt Member Support directly through the in-app Chat/Help section.
- Ask them to remove your auto-transfer enrollment. They can manually reset it.
Chase Cobrand Miles on Rent Terms and Conditions:
- United® MileagePlus® Chase Cardmembers will earn two (2) total MileagePlus miles for every $1.00 spent on Rent Spend when paying with their eligible card directly through their linked Bilt® Rewards account on up to an aggregate of $50,000 of eligible Rent Spend calculated from January 1 to December 31 each calendar year, effective December 4, 2025 through June 26, 2028. There will be no retroactive mileage awards for rent payments made before the effective date.
- Eligible United MileagePlus Chase Cards are United QuestSM, UnitedSM Explorer, United GatewaySM, United ClubSM and UnitedSM Presidential PlusSM. Cardmembers must be in good standing with JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. Member FDIC (“Chase”).
- When a Rent Spend payment is made using an eligible United MileagePlus Chase Card linked in the Bilt wallet, the MileagePlus number associated with that card will be linked to the corresponding Bilt Rewards account.
- One (1) mile per $1.00 spent on Rent Spend made using an eligible United Chase Card will be fulfilled by Chase pursuant to the cardmember agreement for the applicable credit card. Please allow up to 2 billing cycles for Chase to post the miles to your account after qualifying purchases are made. One (1) mile per $1.00 spent on Rent Spend made using an eligible United Chase Card will be fulfilled by Bilt. Bilt will post such miles to a cardmember’s MileagePlus account within 5 business days of the qualifying Rent Spend or later, depending on when the payment is processed and validated.
- After $50,000 in annual Rent Spend, United MileagePlus Chase Cardmembers will continue to earn one (1) mile per $1.00 of Rent Spend from Chase for the card purchase.
- "Rent Spend" shall mean the payment to a landlord or property manager for the use of residential property and residential real estate related expenses. For the avoidance of doubt, Rent Spend may include additional items charged directly by the landlord including but not limited to utilities, parking, common area uses fees, etc.
- Eligible Bilt Rent Spend includes only Bilt transactions billed under Merchant Category Code (MCC) 6513.
- A 3% fee applies to all Rent Spend made through Bilt Rewards with a United Chase Card. Miles will be earned on the rent, including the fee.

Bilt Points to United MileagePlus miles and Auto-Transfer Benefit Terms and Conditions:
1. To transfer Bilt® Points to United® MileagePlus® miles, you must link your United MileagePlus account and Bilt account.
2. The conversion ratio for Bilt Points to MileagePlus miles will be 1:1 on transfers.
3. Bilt Rewards® Blue members must accrue a minimum of 2,000 eligible Bilt Points for a transfer to occur; Bilt Silver, Gold and Platinum members must accrue a minimum of 1,000 eligible Bilt Points for a transfer to occur. Balances will carry over month to month until minimums are met. Balances will transfer in increments of 50 points, and any additional points outside of the 50-point increment will carry over to the next month.
4. Bilt Points can be transferred up to a maximum of 999,000 Bilt Points per transaction.
5. Members earn up to 1 mile per $2 spent on rent when transferring Bilt points to MileagePlus miles subject to the limitations of how Bilt Points are earned. Rent payments made using a credit card that is not a Bilt Card (including Visa®, Mastercard®, or Discover® cards) on or after July 21, 2025 will earn 1 Point per $2 spent on rent when paid through the Bilt App or website. Rent payments made via an American Express® credit card will earn 1 Point per $2 spent on rent paid through the Bilt App or website. Rent Payments made through the Bilt app or website via ACH, check, debit card, or any credit card that is not a Mastercard®, Visa®, American Express® or Discover® credit card, Bilt Members will earn a flat rate of Two Hundred Fifty (250) Points per monthly Rent payment. Points cannot be earned on Rent payment fees under this offer and can be earned on only one residential rent payment per month.

11. Bilt Points earned prior to October 1, 2025 are not eligible for auto-transfer.
12. Once Bilt Points have been exchanged and credited to a member’s MileagePlus account, they are no longer Bilt Points and are subject to the terms and conditions of the MileagePlus program.
13. All transfers of Bilt Points to the MileagePlus miles are final and cannot be reversed.
14. In most cases transfer will be immediate, but please allow up to 48 hours for the transfer to be completed.
15. The name of the linked MileagePlus account owner must match the Bilt Rewards account owner for auto-transfer to be completed.
