When you pay your rent through Bilt using an Air France KLM Visa Signature® or Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard® credit card, you’ll earn three (3) Flying Blue Miles per $1 spent on each rent payment – on up to $50,000 per year (maximum cap of 75,000 bonus miles). Just link your Air France KLM Visa Signature or Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard credit card to your Billpay account and then you can use it in your property’s online rent payment portal.
How do I set up rent payments through Bilt?
If you don’t live in a Bilt Rewards Alliance building, you can add your eligible credit card to your Bilt Wallet. Then, set up a Billpay account in the My Home tab by following the steps to add your home. During the process, you can select your eligible credit card as your payment method and create a Billpay account with a unique routing and account number that you'll add to your property's payment portal. When you pay rent through your payment portal using the routing and account number provided by Bilt, your card will be charged for the rent payment by Bilt.
What if I pay my rent by check?
You are not currently able to pay rent by check with an eligible Air France KLM Visa Signature® or Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard® credit card. Eligible payment methods are 1) paying rent directly through the Bilt portal, available if your building is a member of the Bilt Rewards Alliance. Or, you can 2) create a Rent Rewards account in the My Home tab, then use your unique routing and account number to add to your property’s payment portal.
Is there a fee for this transaction?
Yes, when you pay rent with your Air France KLM Visa Signature® or Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard® credit card, you’ll be charged a 3% transaction fee. However, you’ll also earn three (3) Flying Blue Miles per $1 spent on both your rent payment AND the transaction fee amount, on up to $50,000 per year (maximum cap of 75,000 bonus miles).
When will I see the Miles I’ve earned in my Flying Blue account after I pay rent with an eligible credit card?
Flying Blue Miles earned within a given billing cycle post to your Flying Blue account within 1 – 2 billing cycles after the credit card statement closes.
Am I earning Flying Blue Miles or Bilt Points?
If you are paying your rent with your Air France KLM Visa Signature® or Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard® credit card, you will earn three (3) Flying Blue Miles (1.5 base miles and 1.5 bonus miles) per dollar on Rent Spend, including on the 3% transaction fee, on up to $50,000 per calendar year (maximum cap of 75,000 bonus miles) based on transaction date. After $50,000 in annual Rent Spend, eligible cardholders will continue to earn one and one-half (1.5) Flying Blue Miles per dollar on Rent Spend made through a linked Bilt Rewards account.
Where will I see the Miles I’ve earned?
The Miles you earn on rent payments paid with your eligible Air France KLM Visa Signature® or Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard® credit card through Bilt will post to your Flying Blue account within 1 – 2 billing cycles after the credit card statement closes.
Can I pay with an eligible Air France KLM Visa Signature® or Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard® credit card and earn Points instead of Miles?
No, if you elect to pay with an eligible credit card, you will be awarded Flying Blue Miles for your rent payment in place of Bilt Points.
Who do I contact if the Miles I’ve earned have not posted to my Flying Blue account?
Please contact Bank of America if your Flying Blue Miles earned from paying your monthly rent with your Air France KLM Visa Signature® or Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard® credit card do not appear in your Flying Blue account within 1 – 2 billing cycles after the credit card statement closing date.

Have I hit my annual $50,000 spending limit?
You’ll earn three (3) Flying Blue Miles per $1 spent on rent payments on up to $50,000 of annual Rent Spend as defined as the period from January 1st to December 31st for every calendar year. After $50,000 in annual Rent Spend (maximum cap of 75,000 bonus miles) based on transaction date, eligible cardholders will continue to earn one and one-half (1.5) Flying Blue Miles per dollar on Rent Spend made through a linked Bilt Rewards account. What happens to my Flying Blue Miles if my rent is denied or canceled when using my eligible credit card?
Payments must be finalized and cleared to earn miles. Denied or canceled transactions do not count as qualifying transactions.
What if I have more than one eligible credit card?
To receive three (3) Flying Blue Miles per $1 spent on your monthly rent payment, you must pay using an eligible Air France KLM Visa Signature® or Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard® credit card. The Flying Blue number as it appears on your credit card is the account to which the miles will post. If you have multiple Air France KLM credit cards, you can switch which one you use to pay rent at any time.
Can I earn Flying Blue Miles on rent payments made through other websites or retailers?
No, Flying Blue Miles can only be earned on rent payments made directly through the Bilt App or website when paying with an eligible credit card.
How do I link my eligible Air France KLM credit card to my Bilt Wallet?
1. Sign in to your Bilt account and navigate to the Wallet tab
2. Select “add card” and enter your card details
3. Select “link card” to link you card to your Bilt wallet.

You can check your Miles balance by visiting flyingblue.us and logging into your Flying Blue account.
Do Flying Blue miles expire?
Yes, Flying Blue miles expire after 24 months of inactivity. Any qualifying earning activity, such as taking a flight, using a co-branded credit card, or making a purchase with partners, resets the 24-month clock for your entire balance. As of May 4, 2026, all miles share a single, unified 24-month expiration date.
