What is the Bilt and Metropolis partnership? Bilt Members can now earn Bilt Points every time they park at eligible Metropolis locations. At Vision technology lots, you’ll earn points when your Metropolis and Bilt accounts are connected. At standard lots, you’ll earn points when you pay with a card linked to your Bilt account.
How can I get rewarded for my parking?
It depends on the type of lot you’re parking in:
- Vision technology lots: Your Metropolis account must be connected to your Bilt account. If both accounts share the same phone number, they’ll link automatically. Register your car in the Bilt app to start earning when your license plate is recognized on entry/exit. You can pay with any card and still earn Bilt Points.
- Standard lots (ticket-based): You’ll take a ticket and pay normally at the exit. To earn Bilt Points, just pay with any card linked to your Bilt account. No Metropolis account required.
What if I don’t have a Metropolis account? You only need a Metropolis account if you plan to earn points at Vision technology lots. If you do, you can register your car and create a Metropolis account directly in the Bilt app.
How many points do I earn? You’ll earn 1X Bilt Points for every dollar spent at eligible lots—on top of your usual card rewards.
What are Metropolis Vision technology parking lots? These lots use Metropolis Vision technology so you can drive in, park, and leave without tickets or terminals. Your license plate is recognized automatically, your payment is charged, and you earn Bilt Points.
Do I earn points at Non-Vision (standard) lots? Yes—at select standard lots. You’ll take a ticket and pay normally, and you’ll earn points when you pay with a linked card. To find a participating lot, check the Parking map inside the Bilt app.
How do I know if a lot has Vision technology? Vision technology lots are clearly labeled in the Parking map in the Bilt app. When you arrive in person, you’ll also notice:
- No gates or ticket machines
- No stopping to pull a ticket
- No need to present a card at exit
Do I still earn my usual credit card rewards? Yes. Whether you're using a linked card at standard lots or any card at Vision lots, you’ll earn your card’s rewards and Bilt Points.
Do I earn points on monthly memberships? Not yet. Monthly memberships are not eligible for Bilt Points today, but we plan to support point earning on monthly parking in a future phase.
