Lyft is partnering with Bilt Rewards to offer benefits to Bilt Members and Bilt Mastercard® cardholders. Riders can earn up to 5X Bilt Points on rideshare – 2X points once they’ve linked their Bilt and Lyft accounts and set Bilt as the active loyalty partner and 3X points when they pay for and complete their ride using a Bilt Mastercard.

Bilt Mastercard Benefit
What is the Lyft benefit for Bilt Mastercard cardholders?

Bilt Mastercard cardholders can earn up to 5X Bilt Points on Lyft rideshare:
- Rides paid for with the Bilt Mastercard are eligible for 3X points per dollar spent on Lyft rideshare, bikes, and scooters booked and completed via the Lyft app.
- Cardholders who have linked their Bilt Rewards and Lyft accounts and set Bilt as their active loyalty partner can earn an additional 2X points on Lyft rideshare purchases (excluding bikes and scooters and Lyft Pass credits not issued by Bilt Rewards or Lyft Concierge rides). Cardholders will earn 2 points per dollar spend on Lyft Pass credits that are issued directly by Bilt Rewards
- Offer is valid for US rides only, and excludes territories
If I use my Bilt Mastercard, are there any specific ride types I have to take to earn Bilt Rewards points?
- Bilt Point earnings are valid on rides in the US, excluding territories. If you pay for your ride with the Bilt Mastercard, you will earn 3X points per dollar spent on all Lyft rideshare modes, bikes, and scooters booked and completed via the Lyft app. Lyft Pass credits not issued by Bilt Rewards or Lyft Concierge rides are not eligible for point earning for Bilt Loyalty Rewards.
If I pay with my Bilt Mastercard and also link my Bilt Rewards account to my Lyft account, how many points do I earn?
- For rideshare rides booked and completed via the Lyft app, you will receive up to a total of 5X Bilt Points – 3X points per dollar if you pay for your ride with your Bilt Mastercard, plus 2X points per dollar on rides when you link your Bilt Rewards account and set Bilt as the active loyalty partner.
- Bike and scooter rides and Lyft Pass credits not issued by Bilt Rewards or Lyft Concierge rides booked and completed via the Lyft app are not eligible for the additional 2X points.
If I pay for a Lyft ride with my Bilt Mastercard but do not have my Bilt Rewards account actively linked to my Lyft account, how many points do I earn?
- You will receive a total of 3X Bilt Points per dollar spent on purchases with your Bilt Mastercard if you pay for your Lyft rideshare, bikes, and scooters booked and completed via the Lyft app.
- You do not need to meet the 5 transactions each statement period to earn the 3X points, but your Lyft transaction(s) do count towards the minimum requirement.
If I link my Bilt Rewards account to my Lyft account and am a Bilt Mastercard cardholder, but do not pay for my Lyft ride with my Bilt Mastercard, how many points do I earn?
- You will receive a total of 2X Bilt Points per dollar spent on rideshare purchases if you have linked Bilt Rewards and Lyft accounts and set Bilt Rewards as the active loyalty partner.
- Bike and scooter rides and Lyft Pass credits not issued by Bilt Rewards or Lyft Concierge rides, and rides fully paid for with Lyft coupons that are booked and completed via the Lyft app are not eligible for the 2X points.
If I link my Bilt Rewards account to my Lyft account but don't choose Bilt as my active loyalty partner through Lyft, how many points do I earn?
- If you pay with a Bilt Mastercard, you will earn 3X Bilt Points per dollar on purchases on your Lyft rideshare, bikes, and scooters booked and completed via the Lyft app
- If you pay with a non-Bilt Mastercard, you will not earn any points.
As a Bilt Mastercard® cardholder, am I eligible for any World Elite Mastercard® benefits with Lyft?
- Yes. Because the Bilt card is a World Elite Mastercard®, cardholders are eligible to earn $5 in Lyft credit every month* just by taking three rideshare Lyft rides within a calendar month and paying with your Bilt Mastercard®. Bilt Rewards Benefits
All Bilt Rewards members can earn 2X Bilt Points on Lyft rideshare (excluding bikes and scooters) by linking their Bilt Rewards and Lyft accounts and setting Bilt as the active loyalty partner. This benefit is available to both Bilt Mastercard® holders and Bilt loyalty-only members
Account Linking
How do I link my Bilt Rewards and Lyft accounts?
1. Open the Bilt app and go to the “Rideshare” tab
2. Select “Link Lyft Account”
3. You’ll be asked to confirm that the phone number associated with your Bilt account is the same as the one associated with your Lyft account. These numbers must match to link.
4. Select “Confirm & Link Accounts”
Do I have to do anything on the Lyft app once I have linked my accounts?
- No. As long as your accounts are actively linked and Bilt Rewards is selected as your active loyalty rewards partner in your Lyft rewards tab, your rides (excluding scooters and bike rides and Lyft Pass credits not issued by Bilt Rewards or Lyft Concierge rides) will earn Bilt Points. To make sure your accounts are actively linked, visit the Connected Apps page on Lyft.com. You should see “Bilt Rewards & Lyft Partnership” in the Connected Apps section if your accounts are linked.

Can I link more than one Bilt Rewards account to my Lyft account?
- No, only one Bilt Rewards account may be linked to a Lyft account.
Can I link more than one Lyft account to my Bilt Rewards account?
- No, only one Lyft account can be linked to a Bilt Rewards account.
I tried to link accounts, but it would not work. Can I still earn points? What should I do?
- First, ensure that you are using the same phone number for both your Lyft app and Bilt Rewards app. If you have attempted to link your Bilt Rewards and Lyft accounts but were unsuccessful, you should have received an error message. If the error message was related to your Bilt Rewards account, please contact Bilt here. If the error message was related to your Lyft account, please contact the Lyft Help Center.
I previously linked my accounts but recently deleted my Lyft app. If I download it again, will my accounts still be linked?
- Yes, your accounts will still be linked even if you uninstall and reinstall the Lyft app.
I would like to update my linked accounts. How can I do this?
- To completely break the link between your Bilt Rewards and Lyft accounts, you will need to go to Connected Apps and revoke access for Bilt Rewards.
Point Earning
How do I earn Bilt Rewards points with Lyft?
- Bilt Rewards members need to link their Bilt Rewards and Lyft accounts, initiating the linking process from the Bilt app. Once your accounts are linked and Bilt is set as your active loyalty rewards partner, just book and complete a ride with Lyft to earn your Bilt Rewards points.

How soon after I complete a ride will I see Bilt Rewards points posted to my account?

Points can take up to seven (7) days after your ride is completed to post to your Bilt Rewards account. If more than seven (7) days have passed since you completed your ride and Bilt Rewards points have not been posted to your account, please validate that Bilt Rewards is selected as your active loyalty rewards partner in the Lyft app. To make sure Bilt Rewards is selected as your active loyalty partner:

Can I request Bilt Rewards points for rideshare rides that I took before linking my accounts?
- No. The earning of points is exclusively for Bilt Rewards members who have active linked accounts at the time the ride is completed. Historical rides prior to account linking are not eligible for earning Bilt Rewards points.
If there are multiple people riding together who have linked their accounts, can everyone earn Bilt Rewards points?
- No. Only the Lyft rider who made the ride request with their Lyft app can earn Bilt Rewards points as long as that account was linked prior to requesting the ride.
Once my accounts are actively linked, are there any specific rideshare ride types I have to take to earn Bilt Rewards points?
- Bilt Rewards point earning is valid on all rideshare rides in the US. You will earn 2X points per dollar on all Lyft rideshare modes. Bikes and scooters and Lyft Pass credits not issued by Bilt Rewards or Lyft Concierge rides are not eligible for point earning for Bilt Loyalty Rewards. Bilt Members will earn 2 points per dollar spent on Lyft Pass credits that are issued directly by Bilt Rewards.
Is there a cap on the number of Bilt Rewards points I can earn for Lyft rides?
- No. Once your accounts are actively linked, or a Bilt Mastercard is used as the payment method, point earning is unlimited.
Can I earn Bilt Rewards points as a driver on the Lyft Platform?
- No. Lyft does not currently offer a point-earning opportunity for drivers on the Lyft platform. Drivers can earn unlimited Bilt Rewards points through this partnership when traveling as a rider.
Is there a surcharge for Lyft rides that earn Bilt Rewards points?
- No. There are no additional charges associated with earning Bilt Rewards points for your Lyft rides.
Where can I earn Bilt Rewards points for Lyft rides?
- Members will earn Bilt Rewards points on Lyft rides in the United States only, excluding territories.
Are there any exclusions that are not eligible for earning Bilt Rewards points?
- Yes. Bike and scooter rides and Lyft Pass credits not issued by Bilt Rewards or Lyft Concierge rides are not eligible to earn Bilt Rewards points. Only bike and scooter rides and Lyft Pass credits not issued by Bilt Rewards or Lyft Concierge rides booked via the Lyft app and paid for by a Bilt Mastercard® are eligible for Bilt Rewards points.

Can I earn loyalty rewards with more than one partner?

Riders can only earn rewards with one loyalty reward partner. This does not include, however, rewards earned through payment methods. To make sure Bilt is selected as your active loyalty rewards partner:
- Open the Lyft app and tap “Rewards” in the menu
- Scroll to the “Loyalty Rewards” section and select “Bilt Rewards”
How do I find the phone number associated with my Bilt account?
- Head to the Bilt Rewards app and follow the steps below:
- Select the Account tab
- Tap Settings
- Tap Account Details
If I currently do not have a Lyft account, how do I sign up?
- Visit https://www.lyft.com/signup to create an account and become a user on the Lyft platform. Make sure you are using the same phone number as you are in the Bilt app.
Once I have signed up for Lyft as a new rider and linked my Lyft and Bilt Rewards accounts, do I need to take any further action?
- Yes. You will receive an SMS confirming that your Lyft account has been activated. Once received, you should make sure that you have downloaded the Lyft app, select Bilt as your active loyalty partner, and then begin taking rides to start earning Bilt Rewards points.
If I am not currently a Bilt Rewards member, how do I sign up?
- You can visit the website here to enroll and become a Bilt Rewards member.
I received a Lyft reward from my property. How do I claim it?
You’ll receive an email and push notification letting you know about your reward. You’ll have Lyft credits, potentially to and from a specific destination. This is determined by your property.
Relevant details of your reward will be clear in your email communications.
To use your reward, you’ll need to claim it first. To claim your reward:
- Please go to the Your Benefits page, where you’ll see the option to claim your reward.
- You’ll have the option to either claim the full reward, or split the reward with your roommate.
- If you’re splitting your reward with your roommate, you can either split the reward evenly, or do a custom split. Bilt is not involved in the process of splitting your reward, and that’s entirely determined between you and your roommate.
- Once you claim your reward through Bilt, you’ll be directed to your Lyft account. If you haven’t linked your Bilt Account to your Lyft Account, you’ll need to do that first.
- Once your accounts are linked, your Lyft credit will live in your Lyft account, not your Bilt account.
What if my roommate has claimed some or all of the reward?
Rewards can be given to your entire household, or just to a single resident, which is determined by your property. In this case, your roommate might have claimed some or all of the reward. If your roommate claimed part of the reward and shared some with you, you’ll see it in your Bilt account. Bilt has no control over this, so we recommend discussing it directly with your roommate.
*World and World Elite Mastercard: Lyft Take 3, Get $5: offer runs through 9/30/25, Lyft users can participate in Lyft and Mastercard's Take 3, Get $5 program ("Program") by taking and partially or fully paying for three (3) Eligible Rides in a calendar month to receive a $5 Lyft credit ("Credit"). The rides must be paid for with an eligible World or World Elite Mastercard credit card. Limit one Credit per calendar month per Lyft account.
